Boulia Sports & Aquatic Centre Venue

The Boulia Sports & Aquatic Centre is a $4 million sporting facility which features an airconditioned indoor sports hall incorporating basketball, netball, badminton and volleyball courts. The complex also houses two squash courts, gym and a cinema/meeting room. A 25m pool, along with a children's playground and BBQ area, complement the adjacent sports oval and tennis courts. The centre is adjacent to the Boulia Splash Park.

Opening Hours

Council endeavours to keep the centre open year round, however opening hours are subject to staffing availability.

Pool:

Gym and Sports Centre Area:
Current opening hours for the gym and sports centre areas are list to the right. Out of hours Gym keys are available from the Council Office with a gym membership. Please ring 07 4746 3188 or email admin@boulia.qld.gov.au for more information.

Pool Health & Supervision Requirements
To maintain a hygienic pool, users must meet the following health and supervisory requirements:

1. Children under 10 years are not to use the Pool or complex, without an adult supervisor who is over 18 years.
2. Those entering the Pool are to wear clean swim wear.
3. Everyone is to use the on-site showers and toilets, before entering the Pool.
4. To meet health standards those who have open sores are not permitted to use the Pool unless suitably protected.
5. Children of nappy wearing age must wear a Swim-nappy when in the Pool.
6. Parents and supervisors are responsible for monitoring toiletry needs of children and other dependants in their care.

Fees for General admission to centre

Concession: $ 3.00 (Pensioners, children 12 & under, 12-18 yrs with student concession card)
Adult: $ 4.00
Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Gym - Yearly Membership

Concession: $ 63.00/yr (Pensioners & Students with ID)
Adult: $111.00/yr

1 month, 3 month, 6 month and 12 month memberships also available.

A Gym Key is available for members with a 3 month minimum membership (deposit fee applicable). If you would like to apply for a Gym Key, please contact the Council office.
