Planting of semi mature shade trees

Shade trees before planting

Thanks to funding under the LG Sun Safety Grant, Council has been able to plant a number of semi mature shade trees in two public areas.

Robinson Park received 9 trees along with an irrigation system to support the growth and 5 trees were placed at the Racecourse Reserve.

The trees are a welcome addition to our public spaces and will be a valued increase to the amount of natural shade available in both areas.
