Road improvements near Waverly Creek

New overtaking opportunity on the Diamantina Development Road near Waverley Creek - Road Works Teams are nearing the final stages of fully completing a new overtaking opportunity on the Diamantina Development Road near Waverley Creek. The first coat of bitumen sealing has been laid, all signage erected and this section of road is now reopen to general traffic. The final bitumen coat shall be applied at the end of March 2025 in conjunction with the Waverley Creek Bridge Safety Improvement Project.

Waverley Creek Bridge Safety Improvement Project - Waverley Creek Bridge Approaches works shall be started in the last week of January 2025. It is expected to have this project completed by the beginning of April 2025.
