Mosquito Fogging

Due to mosquito numbers not decreasing at the desired rate, Council will be undertaking mosquito fogging regime for a week, particularly in and around water areas.
Please note fogging will take place on:
Wednesday 16th April From 6.00am – 11.00am and 6.00pm – 9.00pm
Thursday 17th April From 6.00am – 11.00am and 6.00pm – 9.00pm
Friday 18th April From 6.00am – 11.00am and 6.00pm – 9.00pm
Monday 21st April From 6.00am – 11.00am and 6.00pm – 9.00pm
Tuesday 22nd April From 6.00am – 11.00am and 6.00pm – 9.00pm
Thereafter, weather permitting until the mosquito numbers are under control.
Residents are asked not to become alarmed at the sight of smoke-like mist/fog during spraying; and are encouraged to stay indoors with their doors and windows closed while fogging is taking place and until the fog has dispersed.
For the information of all residents, the chemical being used in the mosquito fogger is Natural Pyrethrum Insecticidal Concentrate mixed with diesel.
