Water Usage Restriction Request

The Boulia Shire Council hereby requests all residence to only water gardens and grass lawned areas in these allocated time periods:

  • 6.00am to 11.00am
  • 6.00pm to 9.00pm

We are currently experiencing a much higher demand on our town water supply than usual. To help us manage this precious life giving commodity we request all residence to be more water wise in their consumption.

Boulia Shire Council shall also abide by this request with watering our medium grass verge strips, parks and gardens and street scape trees to the same time restrictions as the residence of Boulia Shire.

This request shall stay in place until further notice is issued...
